OPTIVOhand is a hand brace (orthosis) with increased stabilization and restricted movement. This stabilizing wrist brace has palmar and dorsal reinforcement and can be used on either hand. Use it for treatment of radius fractures after removal of plaster casts distortions tendinitis carpal tunnel syndrome overuse arthropathies osteoarthritis of the wrist and rheumatoid arthritis. The OPTIVOhand hand brace is characterized by a light and slim design but still offers high stability for the injured wrist. Thanks to the middle stabilizing band this wrist brace can be adapted very well to different swelling conditions without sacrificing stability. In addition the integrated dorsal reinforcement rails together with the two plastic guides provide additional support. It is uncomplicated to use and is very comfortable to wear which leads to a high level of patient acceptance. In addition the orthosis can remain on the patient’s hand during check-ups with modern imaging techniques. This way OPTIVOhand saves you and your caregivers a lot of time. You can also combine the OPTIVOhand hand brace with the new Pollex Pro thumb brace (orthosis) to immobilize both the hand and the thumb joint. By combining the wrist brace and the thumb brace these two orthoses are perfectly coordinated and complement each other in terms of their functions. Both Pollex Pro and OPTIVOhand can be continuously adapted to temporary swelling conditions and different anatomies. The OPTIVOhand comes in sizes Small/Medium and Large. The Small/Medium size fits those with a wrist circumference of up to 6.7 (17 cm). The Large size fits those with a wrist circumference of 6.7 (17 cm) and up.
