Pollex Pro is a stabilizing thumb splint (orthosis) for injuries to the thumb. Use it for immobilization of the thumb ligament injuries on the thumb post-traumatic pre- / post-operative degenerative irritation Rhizarthrosis without an indication for surgery. Thanks to the three Velcro fasteners on the thumb the Pollex Pro can be put on almost painlessly as the orthosis can be opened completely. A Velcro fastener with a shortened strap and micro-Velcro fixes the orthosis above the wrist. The skin-friendly material is washable and is comfortable to wear thanks to a pleasantly fluffy material under the shell. Thanks to the one-piece shell Pollex Pro offers optimal reinforcement both dorsally and palmar as well as between the thumb and forefinger. The wrist and the remaining fingers remain free to move. You save time and money because you can put on and adjust Pollex Pro quickly. With the help of four Velcro fasteners you can flexibly adjust the thumb splint for different swelling conditions and anatomies. In this way you can adjust the orthosis individually for your patient. Together with the appealing design the Pollex Pro thumb orthosis increases patient compliance and ensures the success of the treatment. You can also Combine the Pollex Pro with the OPTIVOhand wrist orthosis to immobilize both the thumb and the wrist. By combining the thumb splint and the wrist brace these two orthoses are perfectly coordinated and complement each other in terms of their functions. Both Pollex Pro and OPTIVOhand can be continuously adapted to temporary swelling conditions and different anatomies. The Pollex Pro comes in sizes Small/Medium and Large. The Small/Medium size fits those with a hand circumference of up to 7.7 (19.5 cm). The Large size fits those with a hand circumference of 7.7 (19.5 cm) and up. Fits left hand only.
