Additionally the unit’s memory can recall up to 120 tests each with date and time. Please note the Prodigy Pocket comes complete with the meter battery carrying case and owner’s manual. It should also be noted that the unit DOES NOT come with strips lancets lancing device and control solution. These items are necessary and must be purchased separately. Memory provides 7 14 and 28-day test result averages. Fresh battery should have a lifespan of approximately 1000 tests. This meter doesn’t require fingertip blood. AST is approved for this unit so users can now test blood from their palm forearm upper arm calf or thigh. To help conserve power and save battery life the unit automatically shuts off after one minute of inactivity.
