The Comfy Finger Extender Hand Splint features a unique design that acts as a buffer between fingers and the palm in a tightly contracted hand. It also allows for patients to work on and see gradual therapeutic increases in range-of-motion of the DIP PIP and MP finger joints. Firm finger rolls are used as a cushion between the palm and fingers providing extraordinary support to the wrist and helping to make this splint very popular. Additionally the T-shaped frame easily slides in and out of the hand. The patented malleable frame allows clinicians to create a customized fit in a prefabricated splint. Instead of removable covers the splint is covered in terrycloth which is removable and machine-washable. This emerald green splint is a pediatric large Small (Sized 4.5-6 measured wrist to tip of middle finger). Comes complete with two graduated hard finger rolls. Excellent for use after sports injuries removal of casts sports medicine or for support of weakened extremities in arthritis patients. Treated with Dri-Release terrycloth with freshguard to wick away moisture prevent skin breakdown and remove odors. Suitable for both the left and right hand as the Comfy Extender is ambidextrous.
