The Mobility Base with casters is an optional accessory that enhances the functionality of First Class School Chairs. The base converts the school chair into a mobility chair. The set includes four legs that attach to the bottom of the chair. Each leg is equipped with a swivel caster that ensures the easy maneuverability of the chair over different surfaces. The rear legs come with rubber tips that serve as anti-tippers and prevent the chair from toppling over and falling while in motion or when standing. These legs are designed to be height adjustable to accommodate patients of different heights in different situations. Please note – this is the mobility base only. Chair sold separately. The casters are equipped with locking mechanisms that securely lock the wheels keeping it in one stable position whenever required. The rubber tips on the rear legs create a high traction contact with the ground. Constructed of steel making these legs and casters incredibly strong and durable. The attachment of the base is easy and does not require any extra tools. The legs are available in a small and large option to suit individual needs though the height is easily adjusted with the simple push of a button.
