More than just a bench though this unit features a rugged and sturdy frame that comes standard with four weight horns and two tab heights. As an Olympic Bench it’s sized wider and longer than standard benches making it even more versatile to users. The main benefit of using an Olympic Bench is to enable flat bench press exercises which strengthen and build up the triceps and pectorals while also secondarily aiding other muscle groups such as the deltoids and back. However the bench provides an assist to many other exercises. It’s a terrific addition to basic sit-ups and push-ups adding a layer of difficulty to standard exercises while increasing the challenge and effectiveness. It can be used as a step for step-ups as a mat for abdominal exercises or an aide in basic cardio exercises such as burpees.
