The Ultra-Care 5800 is a unique combination mattress system for the management and treatment of pressure ulcers and bed sores. Offering both an alternating pressure mode and low air loss the system features 20 rows of 8 air cells. That’s a full 8 of therapeutic support making this mattress an ideal overlay for the home environment. In addition to the alternating pressure mode the included static mode option provides a firm surface when needed. The ventilated nylon-polyurethane air cells are reliable and durable. As an added safety measure the head of the mattress features CPR quick deflate cells. Each of the cells offer a variable pressure setting for maximum comfort. The mattress has a weight capacity of 325 lbs. Please note this is the mattress only. Air pump and mattress cover are available separately. At 80 long the mattress will fit on most average bed frames. Weighing only 9 lbs. the mattress is easy to relocate making it ideal for multi-user environments. Ventilated air cells provide a microclimate that reduces moisture. Regardless of the operating mode the mattress maintains the low air loss benefit. Cells are easily cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.
