Steps descend from both sides with 2 steps on side one and 3 on side two. Incredibly sturdy as these stairs are made of 14-gauge type 304 stainless steel. Additionally the exposed exterior surfaces have been polished to a satin finish. Slip-resistant material is affixed to each step providing another layer of safety.
