This Deluxe Philips Respironics-Style Chin Strap is ideal for preventing air loss during nasal mask CPAP therapy. It ensures the patient’s mouth stays closed throughout the night keeping the patient comfortable by reducing some of the side effects of CPAPA such as dry mouth and air swallowing. The device comfortably keeps the mouth securely closed by supporting the patient’s chin throughout the night. The chinstrap easily crosses over the ears and fastens with a hook and loop closure to fit nearly all. One size does fit most. The wide strap sized at 3 x 26 is more comfortable under the chin than the more common cup-type chinstraps. The included stability strap helps keep the chinstrap secure during use. As the Deluxe Chinstrap crosses over the ears users will notice it will likely feel warmer than other chinstraps. It is recommended that the chinstrap be washed by hand prior to its first use. Please note this is the Deluxe Chinstrap only. All other CPAP accessories are available separately. The stability strap is sized at 1 x 12 and attaches to the wide strap across the back of the head. Ideal for patients who experience their mouth or jaw dropping open during sleep. This chinstrap is only for use with nasal CPAP masks. It is not for use with full facemask CPAP therapy. Made of polyester nylon and spandex the chinstrap is Latex-free. Wash by hand with mild detergent and warm water. Let air dry flat.
