The Optimill is the perfect solution for the safety issues that surround conventional treadmills. Nearly 25000 injuries are reported from treadmill use annually many of them due to the inability to organically stop or slow movement. With the Optimill you can’t be outpaced by the motor – because you ARE the motor. The belt of the Optimill is made with shock-absorbent slats to significantly reduce stress on your joints. Its smooth motion is powered by your pace slowing and stopping at the same time as you. The strap holding you in place is also designed for shock-absorbency with the Slastix resistance band technology. Using the Optimill with other equipment you can vary the resistance when you run by strapping in by your shoulders waist or chest. You can even operate the Optimill while the strap is on the wrist or ankle to help with gait correction. The design of the Optimill keeps it low-profile and far easier in terms of portability than conventional treadmills.
